She laughed and said "And you are friends who like to treat each other like oblivion. Honestly, why do you two concentrate on appearance and good looks? Why is it you like dark haired women so much and think women like golden haired men? I believe freedom is what makes us unique, is it not you could lean forth for different type of women?"

'Believe me, Lady Brünnehilde, we are both far too old and have seen far too much to overwstimate the importance of looks, but my friend looks at women the same way as do I, and we look past hair and skin and into the eyes for passion and spirit, its not so much the way wone look, as they way they look at other people which interests me, and Ecthelion. Its an ancient banter between friends.'

She smiled and said "And what do you think of freespirited women that seek for adventure?" She thought of a new friend of hers and wished to know their honest opinion on behalf of all she had goten to know about them. Glorfindel was indeed right, it is much more meaningful a life in the inside than mere appearance.

'I think...' he flashed a perfect white teeth and then growled. 'I think such a woman has the right idea about life and knows more about this world that any milkmaid who seduced men with a curtsy and a flick of their hair. There is something.....extremly sexy about a woman who can hold her own in battle and not be owned by any man.'

Ecthelion slanted a smile, ' How ' freespirited ' is free? Glorfindel knows me well, all men of course, are smitten by beauty, ' he glanced at his friend. ' But a beautiful woman who is cold? Or dull? ' he shook his head, ' I seek the fire within, the flame that burns, which scorches, and yet gives so much , aqnd then dances away, and leaves me free again, for neither of us, will be clung to, except... in moments of passion, ' he added.

She smiled and said "You have to be the first man I hear with such description and acceptance towards women who liked such matters." She was a bit amazed for she thought only men wished for wives to clean the houses and do the cooking. There indeed was much more than meets the eye. She then turned at Ecthelion "But would your heart belong to that person if you still let her be freespirited?"

'Ecthelion's heart is in beautiful women, fine wine and music, im affriad,' he laughed quietly, 'but maybe if we can find him a nice girl who will train with him and not get completl bored of him....It would be a start.'

She chuckled and took a sip of the wine "Sometimes you can be very mean with your friend my Lord. I am sure he could find someone to love him as he is." She left the glass on the table as her eyes beamed with the fire of the flames which warmed up the pub.

As Itarelde sat alone, staring into the embers of the fire, Brünnehilde's words echoed in her mind. [glow=red,2,300]Love somebody as they are.[/glow] It reminded her of herself. Would she ever find someone to love her? She thought of her freind Symbianne, how happy she was with her new husband. *She smiled to herself* Someday, she might find somebody. Someday.

Ecthelion glanced at his friend with a thoughtful smile, ' beautiful woman, fine wine, music, archery, and occassionally attempting to kill Balrogs, ' he said lightly, ' amongst other things, beauty... yes, I do love beauty, in all its incarnations, but ....marriage ? ' he said the word as if it were a stranger to his tongue ' I have managed to avoid that in twenty one thousand years, which I rather pride myself on, although I may have some children, here and there, but when I meet a woman who can match me fire for fire, passion for passion, .... that indeed would be a start. She smiled and said "That is a wise choice Lord Ecthelion, I believe someone must take me like I am and for some reason I have always been pulled into being a house maid in the aspect of not being allowed to travel, nor hold up a sword, nor anything rather than custom, and I do not appeal for that, I wish to be free, like the eagls that fly across the sky, and if I find someone that accepts that then he is welcomed."

' Oh, one should never change for another persons wishes, lady, ' he said, ' be what you are, show your heart, your mind, ' he laughed, ' Housemaid? Eru, I have servants in Tirion, in my home there, but I surely cannot see you as one! '

She laughed and said "My Lord! As soon as I got to know of such business I packed my things and became the traveler my heart assembled. And much have I enjoyed my life as such rather than being imprissoned as a mere woman, I desired so much more, always looking into adventures and hard achievements."

'A mere woman? I had no idea there was such a thing,' Glorfindel got another drink and then sat back with Ecthelion. 'A meer man.....I believe there are too many of those, I'm affraid, but the perfect lady is always worth fighting for, any man who isnt willing to, is not worth having, my lady.'

She smiled "Indeed, hence a good man must fight for a valuable woman, a woman must love the man she sees in love as he is, for then she is not worth it, for she, who only sees phisics and perfeccions in herself is not woth the time."
