Slow steps and at an even pace was that whic Emelian used to walk to the top of the Watch Tower of Arnor. His head moving slightly, his eyes glaring into the deep darkness. He carried with him on both sides of his waist, swords, whose sheaths alone curved down to his knee, however this did not prohibit his ability to walk swiftly and gracefully as any elf knew how. One could not aquire as to his purpose at that Tower by looking through his eyes or any other mean that might be concieved to do so. Emelian was alone, for he could not be followed and could not be tracked. His head turned to the right as he walked to the edge of one side of the tower. There he looked down and saw the encampment of what seemed to be priests of magic makers. Emelian had no care for this, magic was useless, Emelian trusted only two things, his sword and his heart, that was all. Magic was of no use or interest to him. He turned his head and looked at Beowulf who seemed to staring at him intently, as any would if he had come un announced into their presence. He took a large step foward toward the man.

Beowulf watched the man move towards those who were now at the center of the great tower. His hand went up in a gesture for him to stop. "Far enough stranger. Who are you, and why do you confront us?"

Emelian looked at the man, no expretion on his face. He took a step closer and then spoke in a deep voice with long drawn out words. " The question, who is erelivant and currently not needed." He paused for a moment. " Why am I here? Why are you here why in fact are any of us here. What purpose drives us to be anywhere at all?" He took another step foward.

*Thraden drew his daggers* "You misunderstand. We don't need to tell you why we're here. You need to tell us. We could be cruel, bloodthirsty assassins. You've annoyed me by coming here. That's enough reason to kill you. There's three of us and one of you. All of us are skilled beyond most. We hold you at our mercy. So I suggest you explain yourself before your blood stains my daggers."

Beowulf placed a hand on Thraden's dagger, lowering it as he turned to the stranger. "Don't mock us man...or I will not be so understanding..."

" Understanding does not come easily young one. She is one of the most valued gifts one can obtain." Emelian took another step towards the men. " My coming is different than that of any other, if you choose to respect that or not is entirely up to you."

Beowulf's sword shot out from its sheath with a loud ringing. The blade began to glow a cold white in the light of the moon, and Beowulf held it towards the newcomer in a menacing stance. "And what if I don't?"

Emelian never flinched, he just stood there and looked at the blade and then back at its owner. " Two ways you can obtain that answer one would be to attack the other would be to put that sword away and let me give you more wisdom that you currently have."

"We do not need your preaching. I could provide better answers than you. And we have Lady Galadriel to ask. Your wisdom is not needed. So I suggest you explain yourself or the fury of Mirkwood will come down on you."

"Peace Thraden. Such harsh words are not needed, though I confess I myself will not be satisfied until the stranger explains himself..."

" What is Mirkwood no. You no longer rule any kingdom. Do not tell me of what I already know . Do not tempt me more than you already have. You do not want to get me angry." He looked at Thraden. " You want to know why I am here. I will tell you. I am here because you are here. I am here because of what you are trying to accomplish here."

"Whether I rule Mirkwood now is unimportant. The blood of Mirkwwodians runs through my veins. And since you are so wise, then what are we trying to accomplish here? Nothing. We came here to see how Weathertop was being rebuilt. Not to accomplish anything."

" Perhaps did you think I was refering to you alone, Thraden. No I also spoke to Brom as well, not just you. It is the rebuidling of this fortress that I spoke of. But perhaps you can tell me who she is." He pointed his hand toward Kyolin. " A friend perhaps?"

((Sorry I forgot about this thread)) Up until this point she had been watching quietly from Thraden's side. She now stepped forward between the stranger and the other men. "Peace, peace! Enough harsh words have been thrown to either side of this debate. Why must we use fighting to solve any problem that presents itself to us. Now, perchance stranger will you give us your name and the side to which you are loyal to in this war to sustain my curiosity?"

He looked at the woman and spoke in his low tone, using once again drawn out words. " I am called many things by many people, all depending upon the race. I am like a cloud that becomes a storm, a stone that starts and avalanche. I am a protector of the old ways. I am a trinkle that starts a river." Emelian looked at the woman, wondering if she would be able to understand what he said as the others here had not been.
