Riding to Isengard

[Boromir]

Boromir was outside the Palace about to begin his ride with the Rangers. They were going ovre the map one more time to make sure they could get there in the fastest amount of time. He glanced over at his Brother." How long will this trip take?" He asked securing a long hunting knife on his belt.

[Faramir]

He rode up behind him with around 13 rangers. * Around 12 days if everything goes according to plan * he said as he strapped his sword to his belt

[Boromir]

" Do you think Eomer will come?" He asked as his horse began to trot down the path with the other Rangers." Or should we go straight for Isengard. If we waste to much time in ROhan they could all fall to evil, or be executed."

[Faramir]

I have send riders to Rohan already. He will meet us somewhere in Rohan of that i am sure. * his horse began to trot forward

[Boromir]

Boromir looked forward as they rode." What's our plan Brother? We have 13 Rangers and there are thousands of Riders waiting to kill us."

[Faramir]

He smiled * Yes this may be true. But you forget. I do not expect Eomer to come empty handed. It is likely that he will bring at least a few thousand soldiers with him

[Boromir]

Boromir smiled alittle." Looks like Isengard is in for a surprise." He said as he contiuned to ride thinking about Aragorn." What ever happened to Aragorn?" He asked curiously.

[Faramir]

I believe that he resigned as ruler and went to go live in the South were he used to. Away from war and strife. Something was bothering him and i don't know what * he said as they continued to ride along going at a faster pace now

[Boromir]

" Ohh." He said as he looked up at the hill." This is going to boring." He groaned as they contiuned to ride. He loved fighting, but hated the trip there.

[Faramir]

He smiled and shook his head as they continued to ride, suddenly from beside them calvery could be seen. Then 12 soldiers mounted stood in front of them. Faramir recignized one of them as his captain. He smiled as he waited for him to speak as the other calvery now came into view. The captain spoke.

" Lord Faramir you did not expect you would ride out and not be seen and followed, did you? We are rangers and your men. We are here to follow you and die with you." he smiled " I have brought 900 men from the barracks to accompany you on this journey.


Faramir smiled * Very well then Captain Anders. Come along. * he looked at Boromir * Feel a bit better

[Boromir]

" I would have taken them on by myself." He said as he puffed his chest out, but inside he was happy for the extra soldiers." I better be in for a good fight." He mumbled as they rode." How strong are the Orcs?"

[Faramir]

Well it is likely that Saruman has massed a large force, plus he may have gotten some help from Harad and Rhun which is being ruled by Lord Cindralic. It is likely even with the help of Eomer we will be outnumbered 7 to 1

[Boromir]

" 7 to 1!" Bormir yelled." Well they should just surrender now." He said smiling." This will be easy." He said as his horse began to gallop." Let's pick up the pace though, i'm eager to slay some orcs."

[Faramir]

He shook his head and smiled as his horse tarted forward at a full run

[Boromir]

As Boromir's horse took him along the trail he watched the surrondings. He knew that soon this land would be engulfed in war, he just didn't have the heart to tell his brother yet.
