Samwise has been traveling throughout middle earth. He traveled barefoot and didn't mind having any company on his journey.

Sam walked down a steep incline and heard several rocks fall from behind him. He turned his head and looked up the mountain but didn't see anything so continued to walk down the hill.

Seeing the nazgul trying to kill Sam Kenshin ran fowards at it's horse and jumped upon it then stabbed it in the left thigh with his dagger, causing the horse to fall over along with Kenshin and Khamul. He got up from the ground and drew his katana "why do you hunt this hobbit?"

Sam didn't move when the blade reached his neck. "I'm just a hobbit, I am just traveling, please I don't want any trouble." Sam said but he knew it was no use in argueing with something as thick headed as a uruk hai.
