Eowyn was spending the afternoon walking along the rolling fields of Rohan where the horses grazed, she enjoyed the quiet and the company of the large but gentle creatures. It was now a quiet life she preferred, she still wished to fight if she must but there were times where she preferred the quiet.
Most of the Horses continued to graze contently while one or two raised there heads to look at her curiously. Eowyns own horse, Windfola caught sight of her and trotted over enthustically, gently nudging her and searching her hands for treats "I have nothing, Look!" Eowyn laughed offering her empty outstretched hand, Other horses came to investigate and she laughed giving them each attention in turn.

*Thraden raced the best and fastest of the horses on his own horse and easily beat them. They could not compare to his own Golden Flash.*

Eowyn smiled as she watched Thraden go, Most of these horses had the blood of Marea's in them, While some were common heavy horses she respected them all equally for they worked hard carrying soldiers to war.

*Thraden rode over to her* "The horses of the Mark are as good as ever. But I'm afraid they don't compare to my own. Thraden patted Golden Flash on the head and gave him a treat* "So what are you doing out here this time of day?"

"Spending some time with old friends" Eowyn replied with a smile stroking the neck of a painted Mare "Some of the Mares are due to foal soon and I am just making sure that all is well before they bring there young into the world. I enjoy working with the horses, It gives me peace and a sense of worth" she said lowering her eyes slightly, she proably sounded quite mad.

"A sense of worth? Foolish Girl! Do not undermine your owb achievements! You are indeed worth something, more than you very well know! So do not speak until you get some knowledge into your head. Humility is important, but if you deny your own achievements, you are no better than a liar."

Morwen walked up to her funny coloured stallion, whom was grazing with a few others. He wasn't big, nor was he small. He was around 15 hands high and the colour of stars (in other words dun).
As she walked up to him and walked towards her and nickered, placing his small head in her arms. She hugged him back.... she was lucky ot have him.
Even though he did not truly have the build of a rohirrim horse, nor the lines of great horses, he was still a horse full of statima and friendliness...
