Saruman moved into Moria with only seven thousand strong. He only needed that many. The Balrog had given him these Kasems not to many years ago and the orcs within the caves knew it and retreated to the far corners and nooks of the mines only to be hunted down and slain. Saruman brought in dwarven smiths and crafters, and elven ones as well. He began to rebuild all that Moria once was.

Saruman walked amongst the rebuilding of Moria. He was pleased to see the city of Dwarrowdelf on its way to becoming inhabitable again. He only needed the dwarves to craft it into what it once was.

"Well. So far most of the holes that lead to where the Goblins lived have been covered. Once we have mended them we will mend pillares," the dwarf replied before continueing his work.

" That is good to hear. It is good as well to see that your men have no fear of coming back into these caverns."

"Everything but the smell," the dwarf laughed, before turning to the other dwarf and asking why he had come back empty handed.
"I cannot find any with the pattern on it," he protested.
"Then look harder. I know we brought it with us."
