Itarelde stands near her window, looking at the beautiful view. The scene she sees outside is more beautiful than the one inside. Here in her house swords and shields hang upon the wall, and thick rugs lay on the floor on which she is standing. She pauses for a moment to open the window and let in the sweet air of Rivendell. The walls are a pale cream; not quite white, but give the home a gladdening spirit. The curtains are velvet, and a sweet smell of flowers is ever-present. In her front yard are cherry trees and oaks, and she loves to walk amoung them to clear her head. She is wakened from her deep thoughts by a knock at the door. ((whoever wants to can come in =))
