"Uruk-hai, orcs, nazgul's, and other evil servants." He put his finger in his drink and started to twirl what was left of the water. "It seems as if he has more power than Mordor" he stopped twirling his water and looked up at Kyolin.

A small mischevious smile worked itself onto her face. "Greater than Mordor eh? Hmmm...now thats a force to be reconed with..."

"Indeed" he nodded and drank the rest of his water.

She looked over him, still grining. "Do you plan on participating in the war?"

Kyolin looked at him, both puzzeled and slightly concerned. She was begining to like the samurai. "Everyone should have a choice weather to fight or not."

"Not for a samurai" he sighed. "Fighting to keep the peace is very honorable, but staying away from war is dishonorable and you would be thought of as a coward."

He nodded "you are forgiven." He ordered another water and then continued the conversation. "It was the opinion of many ancient samurai and I wish to walk in their footsteps."

She nodded her head, the blush lessening across her face. "Its an admirable thing to do, walking in the footsteps of those you admire. I wish I was able to to live like that..." she trailed off, taking the time to sip her wine.

She looked at him quickly, a flash of surprise written on her face, then lowered it again, as if ashamed. "I....I have tried...I tried to live like my father would have wanted me to but...when he passed away I couldn't live the life my mother wanted for me...I ran...from her...from that life...truth is...I'm a coward..." Kyolin lasped into silence, hair drapped infront of her face, hiding the single teardrop that rolled down her cheek.

She looked at him empatheticly. Slowly she placed her hand on his. "I'm sorry..." she said softly.
